The Squad

Monica Moore-Suriyage | Writer/Director Monica spent most of her life thinking she would be a doctor, but then she realized she's not a fan of blood unless it's made of red dye and corn syrup. She switched her focus to movies and graduated with a degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. Monica's mission as a director is to create content featuring diversity as second nature. She's tired of seeing a character's race or sexual identity contribute to their main conflict in a story. Zombies don't discriminate about what flesh they'll eat and she doesn't either! Monica tends to sway towards horror/thriller and her stories feature women trying to survive larger than life situations. She hopes viewers have as much fun watching her films as she does making them.

Chelsey Colosimo | Director of Development In 2014, Chelsey graduated from Temple University with a BA in Theater Arts. Although they studied for four years in the same building, Chelsey managed to avoid meeting Christa, Kaitlin or Monica until relocating to LA and living in the unofficial TU industry commune known as 123 Reese. Her passion for theater production eccentrically transitioned  to the big screen and she has not looked back since. Chelsey is currently in development on projects that range from documentaries to feature films and everything in between. Her primary focus is to represent and help give a voice to those who do not usually get to speak in this crazy, crazy world.

Christa Philippeau | Editor/Photographer Christa started studying media productions pretty early in her education by taking classes in high school and received her AA in communications at Montgomery Community College and a BA at Temple University for Media Studies and Productions. Her main strengths involve motion pictures that dance along with the abstract beats. She has always been awed with music, editing, and photography while simultaneously challenging gender norms, exploring diversity and expressing women's rights within her work.
